We stayed at the Berjaya resort 10 years ago and loved the experience so came back for my husbands birthday and we were not disappointed so quiet in the rain forest lovely beach monkeys everywhere great food service and the staff are so friendly and helpful there is also a relaxing spa

Generally a great property and wonderful beach.For the beach towels one has to walk up to the pool area to get and return towels which can be a small hike in the hot sun. Great Thai restaurant and service. Dayana and Brassarie were great restaurants. However it always took time for the wait staff to get your order. You had to wave them down for additional service and to obtain your bill after you were done. None of these issues would deter me from returning.

Overall ok

Difficult to rate. Initially the property felt tired and busy but it grew on us over our 4 day stay and there is a lot to like about it. Relatively good value and the food offerings aren’t overpriced and service charges are shown inclusive in menus which made it easier. I think the cheaper Forrest rooms are better and I don’t think I would want to pay for the superior sea view ones as they were closely spaced and not as good in reality as pictures.

Lovely place on sprawling property. Food is unbeatable. We found no need to go anywhere else to eat. Staff are amazing, and the tour to Kilim Eco Park they arranged was fantastic. The guide was a naturalist with great respect for the area. Highly recommend going with their guide. Didn’t love the private beach at Berjaya unfortunately. Found other beaches on the island more beautiful and enticing. And the wildlife on the property is amazing!

This property was well laid out and most chalets were set back into the jungle which gave it a very natural look. The property was very walkable though there were also little carts that could take you around. The ocean view chalet had a magnificent view and a beautiful balcony with 2 loungers and 2 chairs. The staff couldn’t be more kind or accommodating and anything we wanted they got quickly and with a smile. The food options were good and we loved having our breakfast each morning by the water. They kept the beach clean and the water was perfect for swimming with a sandy bottom. Though there were a few places around the resort that could use little repairs, overall we were very happy with our stay and would return again anytime. If you like a natural environment with modern conveniences and a quiet and relaxing resort with helpful and friendly people this is a great choice. And it’s also within walking distance of the skybridge!
