Could be a beautiful mountain retreat but building and rooms are aging. Had no record of our expedia booking on arrival. Room was on 3rd floor. No elevators. Fan in 3rd floor room sounded like a chainsaw, so were moved to a main floor room. On check-out, we were charged for a 3rd night when we had prepaid with expedia and only stayed for 1. Expedia has since fixed the error, but front desk staff told us they couldn't do anything about it and that the manager would have to call us the next day to discuss. Had breakfast in main dining, server was excellent. Food was ok but overpriced. Not much to do in area when weather turns and road back to airport may be impassable when it snows.

I booked this property based on its supposed proximity to Red Rock Canyon which on the Expedia website indicates 10 miles…..more like 45 and a 46 minute drive! The property is dated and is in rough shape despite claims it is being renovated. The staff were somewhat helpful but overall this was a disappointment and we checked out two days earlier than planned primarily because it was so inconvenient.

Very mixed review: Pros: Excellent view, cant beat the setting in the mountains, staff were pleasant and helpful. Cons: Needed renovated 10 years ago, all but one light in our room was burnt out. No maid service. My impression was it was limping by and doing the bear minimum maintenance.

Lots of Potential but Needs Love

Beautiful view, proximity to ski resort was great, parking was fine, wait staff in restaurant was friendly and personable - most everything else was subpar. The floor in our room was very dirty, bed and pillows were uncomfortable, wifi was terrible, no screen on window for our room on second floor, never got the coffee packets for the coffee pot in our room that we were promised, bathroom in lobby was dirty and seat covers weren't restocked, the grounds were dirty with trash, dishes at restaurant were incorrect, steak was way overcooked and extras were forgotten.

The room was great we had a king size suit convenient for us very comfortable staff I wish they'd all be on the same page depending on who we are asking we were getting different answers and Bar was very nice wanted to watch the Las Vegas Knights on TV but staff in the bar not helpful at all very disappointed would have stayed and watched the game on TV and had more drinks but we only had one drink apparently they like losing money
