The staff was responsive. The room was not in the best repair. The nightstand drawer was not usable, the hinges under the sink are all loose and falling off, one washing machine was full of sand, the luau tiki stands have stakes exposed and not covered. We were surprised and disappointed to have an extra parking fee.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The only thing I had a problem with was the $25 daily fee for parking and the $25 fee for daily activities, such as feeding the koi. That increased our cost for the stay by $350. If this was known upfront I may have chosen a different hotel that was $350 higher than the Hilton.

Cottage was not up to par. It should be renovated. The air conditioning could not be set on auto mode; consequently, the noise was on all the time...hard to sleep w/the noise because sofabed was next to it. Did report it but staff could not fix it. Patio light was too dim. On one of our stays, there was a pool of water that smelled like mop water or urine. Don't really know if this was done by housekeeping. Staff cleaned it. For the rates they're charging, hotel could do better. The location is ideal, and staff friendly and accommodating. Don't know if I would stay there again.

Updating . Cottage AC units are very loud . Bed was very creaky and sloped to the middle . Kittens and cat meow all night . Daily resort fee of $25 a day plus $25 a day parking fee . Wasn’t prepared for an extra $400 for the week. Gym , cable system only had a single handle. No ice machines anywhere near the cottages and only one worked which was in the farthest building. We appreciated the many water stations but none near the cottages. Mini kitchen area was nice but no utensils and any kind or paper towels .

Excellent location. Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Accessible to all attractions in the Kauai Garden Isle, not a lot of driving. Three perfect days in this place. Staff friendly and efficient. Definitely I repeat and recommend it.

Had to pay a $25 resort fee and $25 parking fee every day we stayed. I ended up paying $391 more than I expected. I figured that when I booked a package with Expedia there wouldn’t be any surprise charges when I arrived. Would not go to this hotel again. Cockroaches and bugs inside of the rooms.

We arrived at midnight and after checking in, the room door would not work. I had to come back to front desk twice. It took them 30 minutes to let us in. The AC had dust come out of it as soon as I turned it on. I got an eye infection the next morning. On the 3rd night the fire alarm came.off at around 3am and scared the crap out of me. It was a false alarm. Staff also didnt refill our body wash, i had to ask for it. It would be nice to have shower facilities available for guests who have checked out as most flights out of Lihue leave late at night. The staff are fine but the facilities are way too outdated.
