super friendly staff , restaurant had amazing food , ocean super close , and loads of pools , construction was in affect so getting around was like a maze .

Room was in good shape except for peeling paint in the tub. The resort was pricey for having the lobby in the middle of a remodel, requiring the guests to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool. Bar at the pool closed up early one evening. Some locations were in need of updating.

Overall I felt the resort was subpar. We arrived there and a fair portion of the facility was undergoing construction. For the first two days, we heard nothing but drills and saws going from 8am until 4pm. It took them awhile for us to move. The food I felt was overpriced for what you received. This was compounded by the waitress underlining the “recommended tip” section in multiple colors, circling it, highlighting it, and drawing arrows to it (this was not done for other customers that I could see but we were younger so I can appreciate the concern). We were told on arrival that the fee owed was “0 dollars” only to find a resort fee for approximately 35 dollars per day had been charged. Only had one hot tub working. You cannot swim at the beach dude to the waves. Be careful about the food you do bring as there is only one microwave in the entirety of the facility to reheat meals or make something quick. Regardless, Kauai is beautiful and if this is your only place you can stay, take it!

The pictures that they posted on Expedia are definitely not what we experience. There is a lot of construction going on. One of the hot tubs were out of order. There were many tiki torches there were not lite. There is also a leaking propane smell all around the pool area and the fire pit was also not was was shown for the money we paid we will definitely not be staying here again. Also I got a soda at the bar and it was 6.00 was too much. Another many of the vending machines were out of order the ice machines were either leaking or making really strange noises

Property under full construction throughout without notice. Very loud demolition of jack hammering all day long! I have stayed there before and had a great experience, hence why I rebooked there. I would NEVER have booked there knowing that the place was under full construction! Very unsatisfied with this stay, wish I would have been aware of that so I could have booked elsewhere.

We LOVED this resort! It’s a close drive to the airport, has stunning views, and the staff is super nice and helpful! The room was great, clean, and housekeeping was so nice. The resort is just enough out of the way that you’re not right in the middle of town, but you’re close enough to everything in just a short drive. The restaurant on property was great & the pool and bar were also great. There was construction happening while there but we never heard anything and they weren’t in the way. The rooms are sound proof so we never heard our neighbors. A perfect spot for a family or a couple. We will be back! :)
