First off, I reserved a king size room and got two (uncomfortable) double beds. Found nail clipping on the floor and hair bundles. The hotel is very noisy. Doors are slamming entire night, you can hear people walking in their rooms as the floors are not carpeted and the sound insulation nonexistent. It was very convenient to the LAX though

Sonesta has a comfortable lobby, good food and drink at the Century Taproom. It is my go-to destination at LAX more than the other hotels on the strip. Would be better if they had a lap pool for swimming workout. Nice, clean rooms! Service is reliable but sometimes it seems they don’t have enough staff….
