The room we stayed in was in need of some repair. Above the bathroom door is a piece of wood that had almost completely come off and you could see nails stick out. There was caulking patches all around the bathroom and they weren’t done well. The shower head had no adjustability and the water pressure was so low that you had to stand directly under it up against the wall. The safe in our room could not be opened and we called to have someone come look at it and no one ever showed up so we couldn’t use it. I felt the room was cramped with two queens and a couch and table and it made it hard to move around. I did like the sliding glass door that gave you direct access to the pool area as we were on the bottom floor. The restaurant has very good food, excellent service and great staff. Though it’s a bit pricey we dined there several times during our stay and enjoyed it. There was some confusion with the shuttle that takes you to the park on our first day though. The staff was great in organizing the line of people and even brought the kids popsicles while they waited, and bottles of water for anyone who needed it. When the shuttle arrived the driver told everyone they couldn’t have food on the shuttle so the kids had to throw their popsicles away and the staff didn’t seem to know this “rule”. When we boarded the shuttle the driver told us it was supposed to be for people with mobility issues and not for everyone. I think this was a driver issue and not a hotel issue.

Easy check in and out. Hot tub and pool were great the first day. 2nd day hot tub was cold and dirty. Also a sign said no children, but no one followed the rules. The bar at the pool was great. So was the service at the bar inside.

This hotel is right beside Universal studios. The rooms are very nicely equipped, and quiet , and very well kept. I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable. It was a very nice stay.

Staying on the Terrace Level made the trip worth our stay! Having kids ages 11,10 and 8 allowed them to have some independence walking out to play the yard games and made the walk to the pool simple! Universal Studios was a quick walk and due to the popularity of the free shuttle we walked every time to save time! Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and we had brunch two mornings and it was delicious!

Kind staff. Fantastic location to Universal Studios Theme Park and NBC Universal Studios. Walking to Gate 3 for studio Business is easy, walking back may be challenging with 40 degree grade incline for an 1/8 of a mile. NBC Employee Garage Shuttle Vans provide drop off between Theme Park Entrance and western acces for the City Walk. Allow an extra 15 minutes depending on crowd awaiting shuttle service. 15 to 20 min drive from Hollywood & Vine. Starbucks in the lobby. Self serve sundry store provides forgotten basic toiletries and snacks.

Clean, hotel staff very friendly i Thought when I got the hotel there was a complimentary breakfast but No. They did have a good restaurant though but added a 20% gratuity automatically. The service was good I just didn’t like that part of the service. I also didn’t like the fact that parking was an extra added charge.

They gave us a room next to the elevator. We ended up counting people getting in and out of the elevator. The AC was so loud, view is horrible. So many noise coming from the pool. It was horrible experience.
