It was great! Loved the convenience of the shuttle to Universal Studios Theme Park. It was also wonderful to have a Star ucls on site.

Pros and cons for this hotel. Much of it including our room was nicely remodeled. But some areas still in need and for example felt dirty. Restaurant was pretty good but very pricey as expected. Breakfast buffet did not meet expectations for the exorbitant price of $32 per adult. Heated pool was a big plus and felt clean. Location for visiting universal studios was excellent. Wish there were more restaurants in immediate vicinity/next door rather than a short walk (about a quarter mile to nearest).

I like that it is very close to Universal Studios and was very happy to learn that a shuttle is available to take me to the park!! And, I get to earn Marriott Bonvoy points! Sheraton Universal for the win!!

The hotel served its purpose, it was a convenient location for Universal Studios. The check in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The room had seen better days, it had a run down, worn out quality. This aesthetic, despite seemingly clean, made it feel a bit grungy. But I wasn’t expecting something fabulous, it’s not the Ritz, it is what it is. It’s a basic, easy (except when a line for the slow elevators), convenient hotel. It’s good for families that want to go to Universal, reasonably priced and hassle free.

Stayed here for the close proximity to universal studios and the shuttle service they provide. Starbucks in the lobby is great to start the morning before heading to park. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant and food was fine but what stood out was that the waiting staff was amazing.
