Rustic, Not what we were expecting

Staff was OK, not the friendliest, but tolerable. No A/C, and NO Wi-Fi in the rooms, unless you wanted to pay an extra $3/day. We had two rooms, one at least had a portable fan in it, but the other did not.

Only stayed in a a room and they were badly equipped. Other than paper cups and weak coffee the room had nothing to offer. No glasses or any utensils. For the prices charged a bad offering. Not really environmentally friendly as they state

Booked a 'king' bed room and was pleasantly surprised to find it was a suite with a separate living room with a huge big screen tv, fridge, microwave oven and dishes and utensils. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning and the bedroom was very hot during the night. Wish we would have been told about this when checking in. I didn't notice the windows had screens and actually opened until the next morning.

The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and it's a great place to stay if you are not a camping person but want to enjoy the nature. Most of the main attractions are only a few mins drive from the resort.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was perfect! Very roomy and it had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, and very helpful. Loved the area, with easy access to various hiking trails, lakes etc. Will definitely stay here again!

We asked for the quietest suite possible in our initial non-refundable reservation but we were given the main floor (which meant people above us of course). It was right beside an open stairwell and the back door, with other people parking right outside our window… manager said it was the quietest possible, but did admit they assigned on a first come first served basis, so it did not seem to matter to him (Kevin) that we had reserved a non-refundable suite weeks before, with the request for ‘quietest possible’ attached to the reservation! The suite smelled like an old thrift store, the beds, bedding and furniture are old! The whole property is run down and in dire need of renovation. We left that night and went to a different hotel 90 minutes away, thereby paying for two hotel rooms. I can’t believe others gave it positive reviews!
