Nice stay, but with a hiccup!

My room was clean and well equipped. However, the bedding was just a bit uncomfortable. My first night was disrupted by a neighboring room that woke me at 2:30 am with a loud scream, followed by another about 30 seconds later but with laughter at the end. This went on for about 15 minutes. I call Ed the front desk and they said they would send someone to patrol the area. But by that time the noise had settled to loud talking. When I called down the next morning, they had no record of my call. So then I asked to speak with the manager and they put me on hold. After a while they said he would have to try to reach me later, as I was leaving for an event. When I returned later that afternoon I checked if there was a message and there was none. I called down to the front desk again and they had no notes again. When I spoke to front end manager, Adrian, he said it would be impossible for them to pinpoint the noise origin and therefore offered nothing. When I noted concern about no note taking, and how that might help if others had or might complain about the same thing, how that might help by process of elimination. Instead of apologizing that my sleep was interrupted, he seemed to deflect that it might have been coming from the parking lot or another floor. I voiced my displeasure with his answer, excuse, and requested the GM contact me. He provided me with the GM’s email contact information. Overall I would still give this hotel a positive review as it is in a great location.
