Room was clean with plenty of space for two. I liked the window seat. Shower water pressure was fantastic. Bummed about no free/in room coffee though. City sounds were loud in the room- didn’t bother me but my partner wore ear plugs for sleep. Love the interior design elements. Breakfast burrito from the lobby coffee shop was so good!!

Very courteous staff. Rooms very basic.we happened to be there when they did their annual fire alarm check. 2 hours of very uncomfortable alarms. Ear piecing. Very expensive for the accomodations.

We enjoyed our stay at the freehand. The rooftop pool and restaurant were our favourite by far. The room was funky but the bed was a little bit hard and not super comfortable. It was a convenient location for us, as we were attending a conference at the LACC. Staff was nice (especially on the roof). 7.5/10 stay

Staff is amazing, the “city view” is not worth the extra charge. Being In The middle of LA be mindful you’ll be woken up by cars being revved, fighting, yelling and honking especially.
