We love the 1 hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are immaculate. Room was gorgeous and the food on property was phenomenal. We loved being on the beach and having access to lounge chairs and towels- also so nice to have waiter service on the beach and at the pools!

Checking was not pleasant. They wanted to charge me $100 a night for my child who is under 12 and was on the reservation! Then they tried to push me to get in to another room that was less desirable than the one I booked which was incredibly odd. When I asked for an upgrade of the room (I had a VIP access through Expedia that allows for such upgrades) they downplayed my reservation through 3rd party and Infact said we are not sure if we can do an upgrade since you booked through third party. I was shocked!!! I didn’t get upgrade even though the hotel was more than half empty. After being there for one night they contacted me and asked me how was my stay ? I told them I didn’t get an upgrade. The man told me they can upgrade me for tonight which we fell good about but once we got to that room , it was a smaller room and on the side of parking area with the view on parked cars and a small peak of the ocean. A room in the back corner of the building. I was disgusted . This place is loosing its grip and certainly not worth $800-1000 a night ! Staff This was my second time in this hotel and the first time was great. I think they are training staff to squeeze guests for every penny. Shame on the management!!!

Room was gorgeous and completely spotless! Mohammad was amazing and made a huge difference in our stay. The property is amazingly beautiful with such an upscale natural minimalist decor. The pools are stunning especially the rooftop. The staff in every area of the hotel was top notch!
