Our guests tell us they are delighted with location of the Carlyle, the quality of the apartment, and the service. This beautiful Art Deco building is the perfect place for your stay in South Beach, Miami. It's located on Ocean Drive just steps to the beach and all that South Beach has to offer in terms dining and entertainment. The building has 24 hour concierge service and an outdoor restaurant. A public parking garage is across the street. Please be sure to view the video attached to this listing.

Short-term rentals are approved at The Carlyle. One of only 19 units, the space itself is recently renovated with new amenities and is decorated carefully to feel comfortable, inviting and elegant. The kitchen has new appliances, the living room is spacious, and the bedroom is separated by a sliding door for privacy. Great natural light throughout.

All in all, our space is a wonderful private retreat in the heart of South Beach action.

The unit is quiet and comfortable despite its busy location. It’s a short walk to the beach and right in the middle of many restaurants and bars. There were beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels. I’d stay here again!

Perfect SoBe location, beautiful place!

This was our first visit to Miami, and we really lucked out with this property. The location was perfect -- the Art Deco buildings are gorgeous and the beach is right there. we could not have had a better stay!

We stayed Monday—Friday and had a great experience. Everything is walkable, and having the use of beach chairs/umbrella/cooler was so helpful. Communication was great, plenty of bath and beach towels—we hope to come back!

Beautiful, quiet apartment in the heart of everything

We've stayed in various places along Ocean Drive, but the Carlyle is hands-down our favorite. Far enough down from the louder bars and clubs that you're not disturbed at night, but close enough to walk to anything. Highly recommend!

Perfect accommodations for two

My mother and I spent 4 days in Miami Beach enjoying the preview days of Art Basel. This apartment was centrally located. It was perfect for two people and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was huge and really well designed! The appliances were top of the line and any kitchen tool you needed was tucked away somewhere. the internet and tv were easy to navigate. The apt was exceedingly quiet. Checking in was easy. The staff was patient and accommodating throughout our stay. My mother is older, and the staff went out of their way to take care of her. There is a separate entrance for residents that allows you to avoid the street crowd and provides security. The building is well-run and well-maintained. Please note, You have to carry your bags to the first level to check in. You can contact the resident's desk if you need help, though. Finally, the owner/manager, Fran, was beyond fantastic. She was responsive, informative, patient and accommodating again and again! It was better than we could have imagined. Thank you, thank you, Fran.

Absolutely everything…

The apartment at the Carlysle has been one of my favorite vacations in my life. I was traveling with my 16 year old daughter to a family wedding and we decided to head down a few days early to enjoy Miami. It was perfect. We weren’t “burdened “ by impending cleaning staff visits and trying to be out when things were being attended to. The apartment style vacation is perfect for us and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves eclectic and vibrant neighborhoods with a million food and entertainment options as well as the most incredible beach, literally across the street. Interaction with the property managers was excellent and not overbearing. We had one small plumbing issue with the room and it was fixed within hours of noting it with no further issues. Thanks for a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Highly recommend! Thank you!

3 days. 3 nights Perfect location for walk to beach. Lined with restaurants as soon as you get down. Everything in walking distance. AC vents in the unit in kitchen and bathroom. So cooling down takes time. Dan would be helpful. But other than great. Will come back again if visiting again. Definitely will recommend.

A Great Oceanfront Stay - *Not So Wheelchair Accessible*

This apartment is a beautiful choice for most staying in Miami. Although the listing says wheelchair accessible, please keep in mind that it is only minimally accessible, given the open living room area with tile floors and slightly wider doors. I have a manual wheelchair and encountered some obstacles - the spa shower has a step that blends into the dark color, along with the glass panel that is too narrow to fit a shower chair or wheelchair to transfer into. The size of the bedroom is also narrow, with a bed too elevated for wheelchair height. This next mention is related to the apartment complex itself- the ramp to the building is hidden around the corner and enters through the cafe kitchen/employee break area, which feels invasive. The main entrance elevator is closed from 12am to 10am and the secondary elevator that is open during those times is followed by a set of steep stairs (10+ steps) so plan an early night. Additionally, the ground floor has no seating area, other than the cafe and ice cream shop. Both were delicious and would 100% recommend stopping by! Other than those small details, my girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our time at the Carlyle!
