Great for families looking for some traditional serenity. Tucked away with ability to book private onsen. Yes as a base when exploring Hakone, but get ready to walk.

Loved the private hot tub in the room. Hated that they didn't have room service or vending machines after the restaurant closed. We couldn't even get Uber Eats delivered; not much was open around the hotel.

Brilliant stay. The staff, Raven in particular went out of her way to make our stay delightful

A very thoughtful set up and breakfast is way better than how they advertised it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Free shuttle to Kawaguchigo station but only 20 min walk if you want to do it. A 7 min walk to a grocery stores which open kind of late at 9am. Not too many restaurants around so plan accordingly.

Everything is great!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The rooms were spacious and well thought out. We stayed just one night but could easily have spent more time at the hotel and exploring the area.
