Comfortable overnight stay

Well appointed hotel with friendly staff. Somewhat dated appearance but well maintained. Large room with several comfortable chairs. Bed is too high for shorter adults but otherwise comfortable. There is a shortage of plug ins for chargers, CPAP equipment etc. overall I would recommend for overnight stay in Summerside

A stay in ‘City by the Sea in PEI’

Loved our suite. Only negative was condition of armchair - arms worn - and tear in one of blackout curtains. Why do hotels only have one armchair in a double room ?? A sofa would have fitted in room. Staff were helpful and efficient. We asked for extra coffee in room and it was brought up. Clean room and bathroom. Great view from window of Northumberland straight.

Room was clean and spacious but in need of some TLC. Bathroom has water staining, furniture needs shampooing and refurbishing. Location is great for exploring the northwestern side of the island. Much of the local Summerside tourist amenities were shutdown for the season (mid Sept)

An older hotel that is being updated but still keeps the essence of what it was. Larger rooms with updated lights and fixtures. Breakfast room is large with hot and cold food to be had. A good stay.

It was so cold in the room and we didn’t know how to turn the air off. We had to sleep with extra clothes. The room was spacious. I don’t like the extra 50.00 that is held and only refunded 3-4 business days later. I feel that is unfair.

It was pet friendly and had grass areas nearby which were clean. Location was excellent. Really appreciate that the room fridge had a freezer in it.

Comfy & Clean - good location!

Hotel was nice - great location, comfortable, etc. Bit dated. Could use some TLC overall. For the price I would expect daily housekeeping which was not included (needed to be requested). Aside from that, place was cozy, comfy, and clean!

The hôtel contacted me saying my réservation was cancelled when i did not cancel. Have booked for years through Expedia. Then they charged me a second time and have ignored messages to reimburse me. Terrible experience, would never stay here again. Was just for location of Canada Day concert.
