Upon arrival I was informed the pool was closed due to maintenance, which we found odd. Later one came to find out by several guest that the pool had closed due to someone having a bowl movement in the pool. The pool reopend about 4 hours after but I felt unsafe to use it for the rest of my stay. Beach chair where worn out and the hotel looked better online than in person. Additionally I was not informed on th ebooking that hotel was being fixed up and that I was going to see ropes hanging in my balcony and plastic wraps on balconies and just an overall eyesore. Was happy I got the room upon arrival and the rooms where specious and beautifully decorated. Dinks and food at the bar was great! and enjoyed the live music at night. I would rate the hotel 2-3 stars out of 5.

Property was perfect. Stunning sunset views at the beach. Beach staff starts picking up chairs and umbrellas at 4pm, although they close at 6 pm. It felt a bit harassing.

The reason I gave the beach view this score it is because I did the reservation for a beach view room and we got a parcial view room. When I went to the front desk to explain my reservation they said that the room was classified as beach view. I think they need to do a change in the description of the room because our view was more green area than beach view. The other concern I had was the water pressure in our room was not good enough. Other than that we love everything else.

Construction workers outside on our balcony. Jackhammers going at 8:30 am until 5:20. They gave us an upgrade room on top floor where workers were. This was totally unacceptable and we thought it was a joke. What a birthday surprise this was!

I stayed at this hotel while attending a weeklong seminar in Marco Island, as the JW Marriott was sold out. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room had small maintenance issues (like a TV remote without batteries and no replacement toiletries) and constant construction noise. Dining options were very limited — only one restaurant with a poor-quality menu shared by room service and the snack bar, which closes at 9 p.m. One night, my room service order wasn’t even delivered. While the restaurant manager was kind and tried to help, the overall service fell short. Even staff suggested eating elsewhere, which is unacceptable for a resort.
