First let me say Staff was great! Hotels.com did NOT deliver the room I paid for. My room was suppose to be a king with a couch per the photos. I will NEVER use Hotels.com again!
Never been in a hotel where the shower simply stopped spraying in the middle of my shower. The spray was a dribble, but had to turn off and turn back on. Everything looked old and dated. Needs a remodel desperately. If it weren’t the SugarBowl, I wouldn’t have paid $50 for that room. I will not be staying there again. So many New Orleans properties mistake antique for “we can not remodel and still charge ridiculous rates”. The restaurant was slow, but staff and food were good.
So, fix the plumbing, update bathroom fixtures, replace the carpet, slap some paint up, and maybe you can get away with it.
Oh and found out after booking with Hotels.com that I could have booked the same hotel with cancellation and $80 cheaper! Goodbye Hotels.com!!!!
