The room was unacceptable the sink and toilet was clogged up the sheets and blankets was stained the handle on the drawer to put clothes in was broken the room had a strong odor the hot water wasn’t hot the staff was very rude and not accommodating they gave us the wrong room type once I asked about the room that I booked and upon showing them my reservation they still refused to give me what I paid for also I missed my family member wedding due to valet the valet service was horrible the car was never brought around when requested a 20 minute wait turned into a hour and when it was time to leave the hotel we requested our car and they told us we was gonna have to walk to go get the car and that was 1 mile away they didn’t help us with any of our bags at check in or check out

Our room did not have the amenities that I paid for. I paid for in and out parking and I could never get my car upon request. My fiancé had a major back surgery and I was suppose to have a walk in shower, the staff didn’t know anything, every answer was I don’t know! The bathroom shower water was cold, the toilet you had to keep flushing over and over for it to go down, the sink kept filling up with water and took forever for it to go down in the sink. Upon checking out my car was suppose to be downstairs within 20 minutes, but it never came after waiting 1hour. I walked back to the valet manager and he said we had to walk to our car which was like 1 mile and keep in mind my fiancé had a major back surgery, and was in pain after walking and we still had a 4 hour drive back home. We missed my family event that we had came down to New Orleans to go too!!!!! I showed pictures of the room I booked through Expedia to the front desk staff and they said they don’t have rooms like that!! We had to load and unload our luggage with no help.

We had such a wonderful experience, and a big part of that was Jasmine. From the moment we arrived she welcomed us with a huge smile and genuine warmth. Even while the hotel was busy, she remembered us from check-in and greeted us every time she saw us. That level of attentiveness made us feel more like guests than just another reservation. Jasmine truly went above and beyond with her customer service. Her kindness, positive attitude, and care for people really stood out and made our stay memorable. She is a true example of what hospitality should look like.

I called and ask Doubletree on Canal Street if they had an airport shuttle and was told they did not have one. I also asked if they had a shuttle to the dock, which is .7 miles from the hotel. Again, they said they did not.

Unfortunately wasn’t really pleased with my stay. Housekeeping didn’t come until end of the day on my second day of staying. I texted the number for toilet paper because we were not given a full roll and they didn’t and up bringing it until evening time after I requested it in the morning. Then she only made one bed instead of both. Then on day of departure one of your employees banged on our door at 9 am asking us when we were going to check out when check out is at 11. I find it ridiculous that we were woke up on our vacation so abruptly hours before designated check out time.
