The room did not match the photos, the room was filthy with mold and hair on everything, and bugs flying around. It didn’t look like anyone had cleaned the room in ages. The staff were rude about it when I talked to them about it. Honestly looked like a completely different hotel as the listening. We checked out before our second night because the conditions were so bad. When I did the staff blatantly denied it being a problem and said it had never been an issue before. But their reviews say otherwise. They refused any kind of compensation, saying all they could offer us was a different room, but after seeing their lack of standards a new room wasn’t going to fix anything.

Staff were friendly and helpful, let down by the cleanliness. I’m a cleaner so I see everything that’s wrong the moment I walk in a room. Skirting needs to be cleaned, mirrors and glass were terrible - cleaner has used a dirty wet cloth to wipe mirror and then just left it to dry. Wall around bin had spill marks. Picture on wall had fingerprints all over it. No teaspoons, no handtowel or bathmat left, odd amounts of glasses, cups, teabags etc. All small details but they make the difference between a good review to a bad one.

The location and ability to park your car there for a few days while on holiday was great. The facilities however are quite tired, but clean. Had a meal which was good, but of four white and red wine selections on the menu, only one of each available.

We left at 4am, so no breakfast. The shuttle service was great and easy to manage as it left every 30 minutes or so. Our room was excellent, clean, roomy and comfortable. It was reasonably quiet as well. The only disappointment was the quality of the food in the restaurant. Our lamb shanks were burnt and dry, the veggies were sub standard. At $38 per serve, you expect good quality.

Our room smelled musty or moldy. The towels smelled either dirty or heavily mildewed. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They brought us fresh towels when requested without making an ordeal out of it when we explained why.
