Average stay but comfortable spacious room

Room was fantastic size & very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious but didn’t like the shower/tub combo. There was a strong smell of weed in the hallway so wasn’t impressed with that. It looked like there were permanent residents staying as well but could be wrong. Breakfast was really average so disappointing & there was never enough seating to eat. Location was pretty good was close to transport & could walk to a few food options but would suggest somewhere a bit closer to the action if walking around every day as it was a little far from the main part of town.

Ok...could really use some upgrades

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The area was pretty decent. Pretty central to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The staff was nice and knowledgable. The breakfast options each day were nice. I loved that the breakfast area wasn't cramped. I stayed in a double queen. The living room area was nice and spacious as well. The fridge however stuck every time we needed to open it so we had to use some force which caused it to slide out of place each time. The beds were ok not the most comfortable. Also the fitted sheets seemed too small for the mattress. The bathroom was probably the most neglected part of the room. It could really benefit from a makeover. The showerhead fixture was coming apart from the wall. The shower curtain was torn around the rod openings. The door which separated the toilet and shower from the sink was severely damaged at the bottom. The toilet was coming detached from the wall. And the water would splash back when you flushed. Overall an ok stay but probably wouldn't stay again for the cost and lack of upgrades.

This might not be a new hotel, but read quite recently renovated (probably 2 years ago). The lobby was great, with water and coffee & tea provided and a game table for the children. You need room key to tap to enter the hotel, which I think is positive for security reason. The pool was not working when we checked in - was told under repair, which was a disappointment because the children were looking forward to get some swim during 3 nights stay there. But finally they got the swim the morning when we were checking out, so that's ease the disappointment to the kids a little bit. We stayed during Christmas, so there were snacks provided on Christmas night, which was great! We love the room we stayed in, quite reasonably spacious given its around downtown New Orleans. View would probably not the main thing to see cause its surrounded by another high risers. There was probably a fumigation machine left in the room when we entered in the middle of the walk way (not sure it was left there on purpose or forgotten), but its good to know that its probably fumigated before we arrive. The breakfast was superb, constantly refilled. Might want to get your breakfast earlier to get seats or tables are they tend to fill up quite quickly after 8 am. Parking is valet parking, which was $50 with in and out privilege. There are also a lot of parking garages around the hotel that within minutes walk for cheaper rate. 10 minutes walk to the famous Bourbon St with many restaurants there.

Shower was moldy. Fridge was all rusty and interior of fridge had a funny smell. Valet was super nice and helpful at check in but didn’t want anything to do with us at check out when they saw all of our bags. For what I paid for the room I expected a lot more.

Rooms are huge, beds were a little too firm for me but the fold out couch mattress was surprisingly comfortable. The kids argued over who got it. Staff was so nice, we stayed over Christmas and the place was decked out beautifully. Great indoor pool, decent free breakfast (but get there early, short on sitting space). Viet Orleans Bistro and Juan’s Flying Burrito were nearby, delicious, and affordable. Streetcar stations nearby, get the jazzy pass and you can get all over the city for $3/day.
