Hampton Inn was a great choice. I didnt get to the breakfast, but everything else was top notch. It's four blocks from Bourbon St, it's located right on Canel St. it was about 5 blocks from the Dome and a huge coincidence we were going to a show and found out it was in the building right across the street to Hampton Inn. This hotel was so convenient and by everything. The employees were nice and the room was great it had everything. The only thing, I wish the bathroom area was bigger. Other than that a 10 out of 10.

Notification regarding the lack of secure parking for this hotel was not appropriately advised either on Expedia or on the hotel's website. Upon check-in, we were directed to an expensive and open parking lot over a block (or more) from the hotel. The staff was indifferent to inquiries about other overnight parking options.

The breakfast was good. The second morning I got oatmeal and the milk was sour so I threw out the oatmeal..asked for fresh milk and was told there wasn't any..that they were waiting for the delivery. I didn't care for the cheesy eggs. The orange juice was good. Tasted like fresh squeezed. I liked the different selection of coffees. The kids loved the waffles.
