The room was cute. The staff was very friendly. Easy walking to trolley and French Quarter. Bus stop right outside hotel. The only downside is that we didn't feel comfortable swimming in the evening because the lights weren't working.

Clean and spacious room. Easy self check in. Great pool and hot tub in the back with a bar (I used the pool in the morning so I didn’t see the bar operating). Perfect location within walking distance to the French Quarter but far enough to have plenty of free (and apparently safe) street parking, and no street noise. Rooms could have more towels tho, specially in a place where there is nobody at the lobby after 6pm. We tried getting more towels in the morning but couldn’t find anyone there either. Overall awesome stay and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

Beautiful properties but the upkeep was rather minimal. We upgraded to a king suite with balcony. There was a four poster rice bed of which one of the four posters were broken. The glass is left for us to use we're filthy. The entire room was slanted and there was no hot water in the shower. After having owned a Victorian that was 122 years old for 16 years. I understand what's required to upkeep one. The upkeep at this one was rather minimal. The location was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. The bedding and bathroom were both clean. More attention needs to be paid to the rooms themselves, the furniture, decor and ensure that each unit has hot water.

The only issues i have is our room the water in shower never got hot it barely got luke warm. Also not know that where we stayed we had walk across the street to main location to go swim. On website it never mention that they have two housing locations. Finally house keeping never came by to empty the trash daily. However it was nice to have little kitchenette with microwave and little refrigerator to keep things cold such as left overs. Also you are very close in driving to french quarter and canal street and city park. Also having roku tv so you can log into your streaming services to watch what you want.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at Rathbone Mansions we really enjoyed our stay! The room was perfect my youngest son is 10 he loved the pool and getting to swim at night. The lady that checked us in was super sweet and even recommend some places to eat within walking distance. I highly recommend if I’m ever this way again I’ll definitely be back!
