The staff was great! The rooms are a bit small but this hotel is affordable, The only issue we had was the heat was on too high.

I enjoyed the location and charm of the hotel. The walls are paper-thin and our room off the lobby was a bit noisy...particularly on one night when the lobby TV was left playing. Woke me up at 2:30 and I had to unplug it from the wall because the remote control was not in sight.

The property is above a speakeasy. YOU WILL BE UP ALL NIGHT. The property manager brought me some earplugs. Very clean and quaint - but the noise is way too loud and much. Also, it is by a school and walls are thin.

Affordable and quaint

Small room but worked great for a quick weekend trip. Be prepared to share bathrooms with another room, otherwise affordable and in cute Chelsea neighborhood.

I didn't realize it was a 5 floor walk up but it was clean. Tiny but a great location. Close to the subway and a great bagel spot called Tompkins Square Bagels.

Avoid this hotel.. incredibly noisy on first floor... dont stay in 101, 102, 103, 104. Got a refund. Which in all my traveling is a first. It was that bad Mattresses awful. Heater would not turn off. Noise. No shampoo or conditioner.
