Room was great! Location is close to many shops and subway stations. We stayed here to go to the village and Chelsea Piers and got to enjoy a nice fresh snow in the city while having a perfect place to stay.

I was in rm 501 door 1 and I had to sleep with the window opened due to the ac not working i so scared thinking a rat might crawl in. Also we had to share a bathroom and it was horrible having to wait for my roommate to use the bathroom. I was on the 5th floor with no elevator. But besides that it was ok.

Spotless. Excellent value for money. Friendly helpful staff. Well located. Very compact. Be ready for climbing stairs. Mattress was ok but we rolled into the middle. Wifi connection very poor is my only real complaint.

Everything about the hotel was fine. The webform had a problem (using an Android cell phone)--I could not upload photo identification for both guests, which resulted in a minor delay. After 5 the problem could have been more serious.

Simple and efficient! Wish more hotels were like that, just put a card on file, charge or change it, get a code for your entry annd room and your set. Wish it wasn’t a shared bathroom but everything else is great. It was nice to see it was a single bed instead of doubles. Makes the romantic night even more worth it. Thank you Chelsea Inn!

The room I had was so hot because of the hot water pipe running through the room. It must have been 80 degrees at least. As a result, I didn’t sleep well. Otherwise the location is great and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend a room in the back of the building as the street level noise is loud.

Good staff. LOUD @$$ BED but comfortable. Tiny cozy room. Shared bathroom but other guests were respectful. 2 flights of stairs, NO ELEVATOR. This was pretty bad but manageable just horrible after walking all day. Free water and snacks. Good stay, u get more than expected from the price!

Room was literally at the front entrance of the hotel so could hear every guest coming and going. Unable to open shades/curtains bc there would be zero privacy. Mattress was super uncomfortable and bedframe was very noisy any time we even rolled over. Not a great night’s rest in this particular room but bathroom was updated and very clean and the staff was great. Have stayed here before and the room was better but still a fair amount of street noise
