The staff was very responsive and courteous. The location is nice being so close to many landmarks and access to the subways. The breakfast was good as well. Having access to full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion in the bathroom was very nice. The bathroom is a bit small, especially the shower and the bathroom sink was slow draining the water. The rooms are cleaned well for the most part. It was unfortunate that access to the property’s terrace was unavailable. And with the rooms being so close to the elevators it was a bit loud hearing the elevators. And not having access to a mini fridge or microwave was unfortunate as well.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to major train stations (Subway, NJ Transit, Amtrak, LIRR and path). You can also get to touristic places after a short walk. The area is safe. The hotel rooms are good, particularly if you go out all day. The breakfast area is small, and can get very crowded when the hotel is fully booked. Our floor and room had a light smell from humidity (it was a very clean area, but the smell was there, maybe from a/c). Staff is very friendly.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel has been incredibly frustrating. For two days in a row, our room was not cleaned — no housekeeping, no fresh towels, nothing. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, I was met with a completely indifferent response. I mentioned that our room hadn’t been cleaned the day before, and all I got was a dismissive, “Oh, give them time. It’s done every day before 5 PM.” Well, that didn’t happen. Again. No one ever came to clean the room. We waited, gave them time, and still nothing. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated like your concerns don’t matter, especially when you’re paying for a service that just isn’t being delivered. I understand that things can get busy, but a little accountability and genuine customer service would go a long way. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again.
