Not good experience

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The room had a couple of serious issues—most notably, the thermostat was broken, and the control panel for turning the unit on or off was missing entirely. This made it impossible to adjust the room temperature, and I ended up with a sore throat after the first night, likely due to the poor air quality or temperature control. On the positive side, we arrived about three hours before the standard check-in time, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us with a room right away. I appreciated that gesture. However, the room we were given was on the lowest level of a building that has over 20 floors, which felt like a downgrade rather than a true complimentary gesture. Overall, while there were some good intentions, the room's condition and the resulting discomfort made this a disappointing stay. I hope the hotel addresses the maintenance issues soon, as they significantly impacted the overall experience.

Hotel was great. Restaurant attached. In the middle of NYC on the west side and close to all Penn Station, Broadway, Times Square, and Restaurant Row. Room was clean, comfortable, space to move. That is important especially in NYC.

Everything was perfect! This was the best hotel ever! I love how secured & safe I felt. You can’t even get on the elevator without having a room key. This hotel was a 10/10 the balcony was amazing. The staff was also great! & had the best customer, they made you feel welcomed. The only thing I dislike was the parking. This hotel too high class not to have hotel parking. But other than that the experience of the hotel was perfect. The food near by was spot on as well. I had the perfect visit.

Certainly—here’s a more stern and scolding version of your statement, while maintaining a respectful tone: For the price of a New York City hotel stay, this property was completely unacceptable. While the staff were polite and generally pleasant, the accommodations themselves were shockingly poor. The room was barely larger than a closet, and any sense of comfort or care for the guest experience was clearly an afterthought—if considered at all. This level of quality is inexcusable at this price point.

Service can improve… but great location, clean.

Some employees were above and beyond with their service, some others were just there for the pay… when you go on vacation you are expecting friendlier people and service overall and thats including security guard that wasn't friendly at all and very rude.
