All the staff were excellent, very friendly and always helpful, and generally great ambassadors for the company. The hotel's location is closed to the subway/ metro system; and the rooms are a reasonable size for a budget, New York, hotel. I had two complaints: the sound from NY drivers using their horns was a little annoying; and some of the other guests could have been a little more considerate when outside their rooms, I didn't need to open my room door to hear their conversation. Would I stay there again, yes, but I would ask for a room higher than the 10th floor, to minimise road noise (car horns).

Neighborhood was great. All rooms are small in New York City so as expected. Sheets were stained but clean. There should be 3 spots for cars to pull up and unload/load in front of the hotel but the staff use them for parking, very unprofessional and inconvenient for customers.

Surprised at the downturn of this hotel.

I've stayed here before, but I'm sorry to say that the place has become worn-out and dated. Don't get me wrong - the staff was wonderful, helpful, kind. But the conditions in the basement bathroom, which is the only one available when you arrive too early to check in were appalling. I haven't seen anything that bad since a train station in Seville years ago. Filthy, with 2 of the 3 toilets clogged. Elevator lights indicating up/down were damaged, carpets worn out and one front door closed because of damage. For $330 a night + another $70 in taxes, I expected a little better. Won't be staying at this Hilton again.

My overall stay at the hotel was satisfactory. The staff were polite, and the location was convenient. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. I noticed dust on surfaces, the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Improving the hygiene standards would make the experience much more pleasant.

We paid for free breakfast and didn’t get free breakfast besides a couple of danishes and a bagel. We could not get what we were supposed to get last year last year. They were allowing you to get omelettes and all that stuff for free breakfast because you’re paying $80 basically for two people to eat breakfast And we got none of that so that was disappointing. The elevator is also scared the crap out of me because the down button never worked so you have to sit there and press the button like 16 times still hope that an elevator would come. When the cleaners came to clean the room, they gave me a sheet that had blood on it and instead of like discounting me or something they just gave me a new sheet, which is disgusting because it’s blood. I do want to say, though that the front staff the ladies were freaking amazing and they did their thing I do want to say that the servers who work in the food area are nice. It’s just that it’s annoying to pay for free breakfast and not get that if I had to pay $20 for an omelette, I would go out to a diner instead of paying for that at that hotel. The area around the hotel was amazing. There’s a lot of shopping. There’s a lot of food you have a lot to do for hours and hours. The nightlife is amazing as well. It’s just I was very disappointed in the hotel as a whole.

I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. It was one of the worst stays l've had. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and clearly need to be replaced. The bathroom had peeling paint and was poorly maintained. The property looked nothing like the photos and description online, which was very disappointing. The TV in the room did not work, and the fridge door was broken and barely hanging on. The carpets throughout the room were filthy, with noticeable stains. Overall, the condition of the hotel was far below acceptable standards and needs Serious improvement.
