Good hotel

Hotel was good. Great location for us. Unfortunately, the heater was broken in our room with 40 degree temps outside. They couldn’t repair it, but did offer us a different room.

The toilet was not working and it was evident they did not know that because there was unflushed toilet paper floating. After several attempts to repair(at 10:30!in the night) - they moved us (after midnight) to a different room that was smaller and did not have a king bed as requested. No attempt was made to offer compensation or anything.

Comfortable, good value

Hey, it’s NYC, you get 10 sq feet to turn around in your $170 hotel room. But this ideally located property — albeit clearly upgraded from an understandably aged structure — offers a really comfy and inviting bed, a fashionable and functional bathroom, some really friendly and genuinely helpful staff, and a bar/restaurant with breakfast available. One of the best deals in town.
