The property was nice along with the staff and room that I was staying in. With that being said, the room was significantly smaller than expected and NOTHING like the pictures. I also booked a city view and the best thing I got was the 5th, and bottom most, floor with a view of an alley (all you could see was three building walls and trash). I paid a significant amount of money just to be disappointed. Again, not saying the property was bad I was just unsatisfied with the room. This could be an Expedia listing problem or something with the hotel, not sure. Would I stay again? Probably due to the location if it was clearer where I would be staying.

There were several issues with our room. The reading light was broken I hurt my head on several times. The TV did not work. We couldn’t switch through channels and the picture would continuously change. There were tears in the blankets. The water was either very cold or very hot. The room was a bit dated. The noise from the fan in the bathroom was quite loud. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and he was really looking forward to this stay there was a nice view. Most of the staff were nice. I wish we had a bit more assistance. The location was also next to a lot of shops and food.

Overall the hotel is very good. I may book again. Location is a plus. Breakfast needs improvement, understand the hotel is taking care of allergies and is having a flat same options everyday what became a bit boring. Other chains with same level of service level are providing better-more healthy options and for the price I would expect that. The service in the breakfast area is a GREAT plus though. The Subway station a PLUS just 2 mins walk. Nice service in the reception and concierge a nice gentleman. Very very clean and recently remodeled - I found some fallouts in my room from its design (the rooms are small as any other standard NYC hotel like this so space should be well thought) but the rooms are nice and modern…… just slight negatives guys you can stay here and would be great and the main entrance it is NOT in the main 6 Ave so it a plus for cars drop off-on with out the traffic risk

Great stay.

We had a studio room with kitchenette for 1 week (2 seperate reservations as had to extend stay). The room was plenty big enough with great views. Location is fantastic for Manhattan as a tourist. Lifts were not an issue the week we were there. Breakfast was maybe a bit the same every day if staying a week but fine. Breakfast bar staff and especially the reception staff were fantastic. There are hotels with better facilities but we would go back to this one no problem.
