I really enjoyed our stay. Yes the property is a bit dated. But it met our needs nicely, was very clean, and the staff were all friendly. I also enjoyed the morning breakfast. We stayed on a higher floor so it was quiet for sleeping. I would definitely stay at the Hyatt place again.

My schedule changed and I told the hotel within an hour of check-in that I wanted to check out for two or one night, but the lady at the counter pushed the responsibility onto hotel.com. So I contacted hotel.com and they pushed the responsibility onto each other. They were unwilling to solve my problem and their attitude was bad, which made me very disappointed.

We stayed 6/8-6/10 with 4 boys. After checking in we went to our room to find a very musty/ moldy smelling room. We opened the window to try and circulate the air. Then we pulled out the sofa bed and found a very thin and uncomfortable mattress with stains. After a very long day exploring New York we went back to the hotel and my son was hungry. I was told upon checkin the restaurant was open every night until 11pm. I went downstairs and asked Diego to place an order for food. It was 10:20 and he said the kitchen was closed when I asked what time it closes he said 10:30. I showed him the time and he said it’s closed with a very hateful attitude. The next night I wanted to get a glass of wine and again it was closed all together bec Diego was off that night. We were met with staff that had terrible attitudes and seemed to be bothered anytime we had a question. We stayed at another Hyatt in DC the week before for 3 nights and it was a completely different experience. We’re also going to Colorado in Sept for 6 nights and because of this experience I won’t be staying at a Hyatt. The hotel is in a great location but the service was terrible.

I wish the tvs were abit more modern with Chromecast or have a smart TV than just have built in TV service. Clean and friendly staff. Good location with alot of food options and center of everything
