Its close to the subway station- 34th st madison square garden etc but thats about it lots of places to eat next to a police station so feel safer. Theres scafolding and under construction nothing special its really just a place to crash for the night and shower

The hotel told us that the room I booked was unavailable and that they had booked a room for us at a different hotel. Instead of booking an equivalent room (king bed) they booked a room with a twin bed. When I called them and complained they said that they had convinced another guest to go to the new hotel and offered us his room instead. But we had to go back to the hotel at our own cost. The whole ordeal lasted almost three hours and wasted out precious time that we had designated for sight seeing around the city. During this whole time the manager was unavailable and wouldn’t talk to us at all. It was a terrible experience and very infuriating because of the way they dealt with us.

The building next door has outside speakers that play load music all night long on a patio that no one uses and you can hear it through the windows all night. No one in our room was able to sleep. Also the room we had was to accommodate 6. The bunk bed was chipping paint and very unsteady, if the bottom bunk went to far over to the wall the bed started to flip up. Shower rod was all rusted. Carpet in the room did not look like it had been vacuumed in a long time. Lots of dust on windowsills and ledges in the room!!!
