nice but sooo busy

The hotel was super over crowded at all times. The elevators took forever. BUT - The room itself was not only generously proportioned for that price, it was very clean and nice equipped with all sheets towels toiletries and tea/coffee stuff etc etc.

Great location, room size; iffy service!

Large rooms, great location, nice gym. Service can be woefully slow (took us 40 mins + to get coffee cups delivered to our room; coffee machine was faulty, took time to be replaced, etc). We were invited to a HGV sales presentation, where we found the sales tactics to be quite aggressive. For example, we weren’t shared complete info (e.g. commission rates to offload ownership, annual increases in HOA, terms of default, etc). The sales rep (Max) did not have these answers when we asked, but appeared to coerce us into buying ownership regardless. Poor practice.

The room is very spacious which is what we wanted especially staying in New York. The hotel is quite large. It is one of 3 on the property. In order to check in you have to go to the 37th floor. It was nice they provide complimentary tea, coffee, and water during your stay. The hotel is perfectly located. A short walk to 5th Avenue and Rockefeller center. Times Square and the broadway theatres are half a mile away. Central Park is close by as well. Many places to eat that are on the street and restaurants.
