Nice, but a bit far from subway system

Room view was amazing. The room could use an update though. The wallpaper was 2 different types of beige and you could tell the bathroom was aged. We were able to store our luggage there since we arrived early, but wasn't able to do early check-in. Woke up super early so dont have anything to say about the breakfast. The AC worked great, we were also able to open the window slightly. Overall good for a 1 night stay. The hotel is pretty far from the subway station...about a 16min walk to the closest station.

The property was in a great location - safe and close to all major areas. We were able to walk 60 minutes each way to reach all areas we wanted to see. 15 minutes max to times square, broadway shows. Lots of restaurants. Rooms are small, no storage space at all so be ready for that. Breakfast was very average but not awful.

The evening staff in particular were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was okay and was apportioned well especially for such a small space. The hot water in the shower was HOT (which I appreciated so much). Our bed was terrible. The mattress was beyond worn.

Pleasantly surprised. Room was not large - but not many in NYC are. Good shower and the bed was pretty comfortable. Loved the many bed pillows. Good location - two long blocks to 9th Avenue in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Great price point for New York City.

Reception was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Our room - standard hotel room. Basic breakfast choices but tea & coffee available 24hr. Suitcase storage available. Convenient location, close to the cruise terminal and USS Intrepid and short walk to Broadway area. Lots of food options short walk to 8th or 9th street.
