I was disappointed that I rented a deluxe room with ac city view and a terrace at a higher rate than a regular room. When the concierge checked me in , welcome back, enjoy your stay. When I got to my room, my city view was destroyed by a big yellow police looking tape on the terrace, and a note saying the terrace was closed. I wish the concierge had mentioned that when I checked in, because they didn’t discount my room upon check out after I told them of the issue

I love this hotel generally, have stayed here many times. This time the room was quiet and good, nicely appointed and large, but I did not have hot water in the shower in the morning, just warm. I told the front desk attendant that morning and they said a technician would come while I was out. No one came until I was leaving the next morning after another warm shower. Not the best at responsiveness for an expensive room. The toilet did not flush well, low water pressure it seemed.

Ugly, run down, bleach smell, view of wall

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the rooms online or the name of the room. A premiere room which we thought was an upgrade is an inner room with a view of a wall. Normally , you would think that premiere indicates a step up from standard. There is no standard room. If you want any light in your room from the window instead of a dark room, you must specifically get a city view room. We literally faced a wall that was like a foot away from our window. Our room was dark, outdated, and ugly. The towels are thin and the sheets smell like bleach. I couldn’t sleep because the bleach smell was so strong that I had to put a T-shirt on the pillow to lessen the smell. There were so many people complaining about the wall facing rooms - they didn’t do anything to help. No one was expecting it to be that bad as a premiere room should be better than a dark cave.

I had a wonderful stay! It was such a beautiful hotel, and great location to be at! I walked to Times Square and ordered Fogo De Chao from Grubhub for dinner! The door man even helped me get a taxi every time I needed to leave, I Would highly recommended for that luxury feeling 🙌
