This is our second time staying at the hotel. The only reason I gave four stars for cleanliness is because the clean products used in the rooms have a very strong odor. Marcel at the front desk does an excellent job.Making guests feel like royalty. We enjoyed the blintzes and hot belgian waffle maker but would have liked to have a breakfast meat, too.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights to be close to our son and his family who live in West Orange. Our first night we were assigned room 227. It was unattractive, and chilly! We could not make the thermostat work, but did find an extra blanket to be more comfortable. The king bed did seem to sag a bit in the center and the thin walls allowed loud voices to carry until the wee hours. We did successfully request a room change, and our second room (231) was a huge improvement - 2 large windows overlooking a lovely courtyard, comfortable king bed, and a working thermostat. While the furnishings are heavy and outdated, it does seem as if the hotel is working to improve. There were ample housekeeping staff. Lovely photographs and eclectic art works were scattered throughout the hallways. Front desk staff were efficient and accommodating. And there are two EV charging spots in the parking lot. I am not sure whether we would stay here again given our original substandard room assignment. But I do credit this hotel for effort to make guests comfortable.

We checked in to two rooms for Thanksgiving. One room was given to us that was already occupied. The gentlemen at the front desk said “ oh it happens, sorry about that. His response for my grandson opening up a occcupied room was rude and non chalant. The rooms are very dated, the toilets were running and the furniture was dirty. Needless to say we left the hotel and received a full refund from Expedia.

The room was clean, but there was a chair in the room that I wouldn’t recommend anyone sit on as the leather was peeling off in multiple areas. The staff was professional and very helpful. The breakfast was decent.

The wifi didn't work, it kicked you off every few minutes which made a zoom call for work impossible. The site implied there was a smart tv, the tv was far from smart. The toilet never stopped running. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed one and found somewhere else to stay for the second night.
