went on a Monday and hotel was quiet. Free upgrade was provided. Staff were friendly. Pool is on small side. Not much amenities in the area and would have to drive downtown.

Was in a great location based on where we had a dance competition. Quick transportation time with the highway nearby. Our room was missing the microwave when we arrived and was freezing cold as the thermostat was broken. During the evening my kids went to bed around 9 which we know sound is to be expected as people are on vacation, enjoying themselves etc. however come 11pm there was a group of over 20 kids / youth running up and down the hallways playing tag and slamming the stairwell doors over and over again which was very loud. We called the lobby once to mention how loud it was and they said they would look into it. Nothing changed. By 12 am we went to the lobby to speak with the desk and they bluntly said there’s nothing we can do about it. Meanwhile tons of adults were gathered in the lobby drinking and being loud as well (just down from our room). I get wanting to enjoy yourself when away from home but unfortunately with young kids who have to be up for 5am for a dance competition being up till almost 1am with constant loud noise is not appreciated.

Excellent choice for families with kids and pets. The room was very clean. Great buffet breakfast. Didn't get to use the pool this time but will try next time. Short drive to the falls and other attractions.

The staff at this property are fantastic. The saving grace really. The rooms are terribly built with peeling wall paper, worn and torn floors, just horrible condition construction wise. The room had a foul odour and needed cleaning before we felt comfortable. We did not receive any housekeeping services during our stay. The best part of this hotel is the front desk staff and bar staff. The food was ok but the prices were crazy. 23 dollars for essentially a continental breakfast. This property could be a gem but it’s clearly been neglected for a long time.
