Booked a “Royal Room” for mine and my wife’s anniversary. I didn’t realize Royal meant Cinderella’s shoe closet. Smallest room I have been in. There was no where to sit, we were walking over each other. Bathroom barely fit 1 person, bugs inside the room. Customer service did absolutely nothing for us. Terrible experience for our first booking at this hotel and most certainly our last

The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is a short walk away from the falls. The hotel is on the older side and while I enjoyed the history of the hotel, it could’ve been cleaner and our room was a little musty. Don’t miss the $25/per day resort fee and $45/day parking.

Room was poorly renovated. The paint job is beyond laughable. Bathroom lay out terrible. Small room for "deluxe" king suite. Barely a falls view (window placement) not worth the $585 price of admission. Breakfast over priced. The 10$ food credit provided at check in isnt vaild when paying for meal? Confusing.

Service was good! Bed was comfortable enough and got the partial falls view! Well Known and preferred location! Shower had no door so was always concerned about water spilling out. AC was not functional most day but more in the night. We could hear the fan sound but it was still warm. Set the temperature to 60F, lowest point possible. Not willing to go back.

Nice hotel with interesting history

We liked the location which was very close to Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. The hotel is older and has a lot of character but it was also very dated. Due to the small room size as well as the older furnishings and interior this would probably not be our 1st choice for a future stay.

I had no phone in my room. I had three rooms under my reservation. It took forever to get my crib. I was frustrated not having shower gel to shower with. Being a gold member I felt I did not have a great experience at all

The view from the room on the falls was nice. The staff was very courteous. We only stayed for one night but we had a wonderful time walking along the falls. Wish we could have stayed longer. The floor in-between a/c and bed was wet because a/c was leaking. They said it was a 4 star hotel. I thought it was more a 3 star hotel. The prime steakhouse was great. The prices are very expensive. The food we ordered was excellent. Not the kind of place if you are on a budget. The rainbow room was a good breakfast @ 29.99 per person. Over all it was a good stay. Prices in the area are set high due to being a tourist area.
