Pros: Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, direct access to the beach, located beside Pier 60 and many restaurants, very walkable with easy access. You must pay for beach chairs if you want them. Valet parking crew was very nice and worked quickly in busy times.
Cons: Room cleanliness needed work, dust and dirt on top of lamps and thick dust over doorways. Walls are thin - could easily hear people next door and music through the walls. Many reviews I read talked about rooms facing the unsightly tar roof with loud AC units - they were accurate, made it uncomfortable to sit on the balcony so we didn’t use it and neither did others on that side of the hotel. They don’t provide robes (I asked for one but they said they don’t have them). Valet parking is mandatory so it’s difficult to get access to your car if you need to get something from it.
Overall is was an average - good experience but if I went back to Clearwater I would try another hotel.
