The smoke detector was stuffed between the mattress and box spring. Once removed, started to beep. Something is being overlooked. I don’t know, maybe the roaches in the bathroom know how this happened.

Basic motel at reasonable rate

Overall was mixed. Pros: bed was very comfortable. Room was spotless. Cons: remodeling (should be disclosed at booking), room looked nice but already saw wear and tear, tv in living room didn't work, air conditioning in bedroom was very loud (like a small airplane), complimentary breakfast was sad and really showed no effort or caring (old bagels was the highlight). Woukd find better property next time. Tarnishes the Wyndham brand in my opinion. Certainly, the cost was very reasonable but you get what you pay for and this was very basic motel accommodation suitable for passing thru and needing a bed to sleep in. Do not expect anything more.

The staff was great and the room was clean. It looks like the place was just purchased. The parking lot was full of out holes and I'm even pavement. No amenities. And most of the building was under renovation so they want many rooms available. The outside doors remained unlocked. So it felt a little unsafe. Only one restaurant across the parking lot that was a sports bar.

I'm really not the type who nitpicks budget hotels, but this place is truly terrible. To start with, the "security door" to the guest rooms (or at least the one by my room) didn't work. It wouldn't latch. It was basically open to anyone 24/7. In my room, the latch lock (that metal thing that you can put across the door) show evidence of the door having been kicked in at least once. There was no hot water, the best you could hope for was some lukewarm water. Housekeeping services seemed non-existant for the two nights I stayed there. There was mildew around the tub. The refrigerator was so frosted over that you couldn't close the door of the fridge. The "Breakfast" consisted of coffee and some pre-wrapped pastries (think Little Debbies). The next morning, it was non-existent. Walking around the property during my morning walk, I could see lots of trash, ripped window screens, and other evidence of neglect. The only signs of hope I saw was that it looked like they might be undergoing some sort of renovation, but there was no notice of it anywhere. Sorry to say, but this is not a good place to stay. They need to do much better. The room was "clean", but there was no hot water, and

Check-in was quick and easy. The beds were soft and comfortable, in the show there was some tile that looked like it had been patched/repaired, and when I put a small amount of pressure on the soap trey the tiles came off of the wall a little. The “breakfast” from the pictures that show waffles and juice and milk with cereal, was just some packaged muffins, granola bars, and coffee. The juice machine was broken and there was no milk or cereal.

We have to move room three times: First, the room was messy, definitely not clean Second, the same issues Third, there was an construction right under our room. It was so loid that it disrupted our sleep and had a uncomfortable morning Ovrerall it was OK, 4.5 out of 10 scale. *Note: customer experience need to imrpove to serve customer needs better.

I wish I had pictures from this property, but I do not. But as soon as I saw all of the homeless people on the property and people sitting all around outside the hotel, when it was night time, I got the heck out of there! I had booked on Expedia and already paid, but I requested my money back and got it. This was a scary place in a dark scary area.
