Unbelievable, amazing experience staying in this hotel. This resort I highly recommend with nice service, clean and tidy room and beautiful natural view. I’m sure I will visit this hotel again.
We have visited the resort both in August and now in winter. In the summer, the setting is perfect for lounging by the pool, swimming or boating in the lake and biking on a nearby nature trail. In the winter, the resort is not far from groomed Nordic, skiing trails and other outdoor activities. We enjoyed the resort’s sauna and Jacuzzi both seasons. Our accommodations had fully equipped kitchens and lovely balconies. For a relaxing and peaceful retreat, Ripplecove is a wonderful resort.
We had an incident were my room wasn't cleaned two days in a row which was very disappointing and upsetting. But the service manager made that right by sending a bottle of brut to our room with small chocolates and also paid for one night's stay. That was very nice of him. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating. Food was excellent and drinks were great. Overall I would stay at the Inn again. A few details got missed for a 5 star or a 4 star inn. I would focus on the small things. Like for example, I had to call back to ask for my VIP credit to be applied. They missed that.
Lovely property with very thoughtful and attentive service. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. We stayed in a lakefront room in the main building with a balcony, fireplace and an oversized tub - it was heavenly.
We visited here 5 years ago and had lovey time im the summer. But seeing the pictures of it in the winter made we want to go back then. And I am so glad we did. We met friends there and had a fabulous January weekend. The snow made for a beautiful setting. We could have crosscountry skiied but ended up using the hotel's skates for a little ice skating. The food was very special. We ate one night in the "fancy" restaurant and one night at the bar which had a more accesible menu with reasonable prices. Since it was a weekend they only had a full brunch buffet available ($55) which was a lot two mornings in a row. We requested a room in the original inn with a lake view and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and fireplace. The large beautifully decorated room had 2 easy chairs. The staff was very friendly with excellent English. The biggest treat of all came on Saturday night when the hotel provides a carriage ride for it's guests. In the snowy setting it couldn't have been more perfect. We'll be back.
Very nice hotel at a wonderful location (Eastern Townships). Highly recommended. Quiet, very good restaurant and bar, good spa. They could encourage guests to reuse towels, they could also minimize the use of small plastic bottles for shampoo, etc.
