Was a Convenient stay during our trip to Universal parks. Room was basic but clean and the beds were comfortable . No very nice breakfast. The free shuttle to the parks need it to be booked at the neighbour hotel, but too tired to be walking there after a busy day. We arrange the Uber services and was very cheap.

Save your money! Stayed 5 nights and the only good thing was the nice lady at desk! Cleaning was horrible! We got fresh towels that's it! They never cleaned room. When we arrived our carpet was all wet! They scrubbed floor and it was still soaked! The sheets were never changed. The floors never swept. The bathroom floor had black footprints when we arrived on the tile floor. The sink nor the tub was ever wiped out or cleaned the whole time.I had baby ants in my area where the microwave and refrigerator was. Then I booked thinking we would have a shuttle to the park and that was a joke! You had to walk 2 businesses down to sign up for a shuttle that wasn't guaranteed! Could only sign up form 7-11. Then it stopped running at 840pm so if you are in a park open til 10 you can't stay! Do yourself a favor and stay in a resort!! Breakfast was decent. Lady was sweet who was keeping it stocked. I would never stay there again!

The check in staff was very nice and helpful(female). We dropped off our bags in the room ans went to get dinner about 30 minutes after arriving. When we got back to our room 4 hours later we were immediately hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. Apparently the people in the next room decided it was ok to smoke in a non-smoking hotel(there are no smoking signs all over the hotel) and since we had a door connecting our rooms together, our room now smelled like an ash tray. Went down to the front desk(new person this time, male) and all they said was "I'm very sorry and we will have house keeping clean it really good next time". We asked him if he would be willing to go and address them about it and he said no. After a little back and forth he did let us switch rooms, but that one came with it's own set of separate issues(musty smell being on of them). All in all this hotel is just ok. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us, but The hotel needs an update terribly(the smells, stains, and broken/dusty fixtures need to go) I can honestly say that if we weren't on a tight budget for the trip, i would have ate the cost and found a new hotel to stay at. Unless something changes we definitely would not recommend and would not stay there again.

these rooms are not clean properly. I stayed here only one night and something fell off the bed and it was under the mattress and when I went to grab it bottles of water and it gross me out and their bedsheets are so thin I mean overall the only good thing about this property. It said they have a nice breakfast

Overall, an excellent location for access to Universal Studios. The hotel was accommodating for our two families, allowing us to have a shared internal door that made a world of difference. The breakfast was great. Communications about how to access the shuttle would have been nice and lead to us walking to Universal. We unfortunately found some ants in our room, and the shower dripped incessantly, and at one point we couldn't turn it on. It was repaired to where we could turn it on and off, but it continued to drip despite the repair.

We stayed 4 nights. First two nights great - 3rd night someone checked in with a dog. 4th night they left the dog in the room and left for hours. I called the front desk about the barking dog on the other side of the connecting doors inside our room. Front desk asked if this was my first complaint- I said yes. She said she would call them. After 25 minutes long and still lots of barking, I again inquired of the front desk and she said they didn't pick up - either the room phone or the cell phone. She said she walked by and didn't hear anything. I challenged that everytime someone walked by the dog barked and anytime we made noise in our room the dog barked. She also indicated hotel policy is they have to have 3 separate complaints -one from either side of the room and another from the one across. In this case it was only 9:00pm at this time on a Friday night and we were catching a super early flight the next morning. So we were the only ones in the hotel - everyone else was out still probably at Universal Horror nights or something. I asked if it was breaking hotel policy to have a dog left in the room while the owners were out. She didn't answer that question but said there was nothing she could do about the situation. She said if I would have said something the day before she could have moved us, but they were fully booked that night. Apparently it was our fault the dog started barking only kept us awake for 1 night. 2 nights, they could have done something. lame.
