The best feature was the lobby. it had a lot of area to enjoy time with family and friends. Lots of places to sit, chat, play pool or sit up at the bar. The reason I downgraded the rating is the room and nightly parking fee. The room felt very dormish. No closet. no dresser. everything was either a shelf or pegs. the biggest was no coffee pot in the room, So you had to get ready and dressed just to go downstairs and grab a cup of coffee. I like to have a cup of coffee in my room while I'm getting ready to go to whatever event I have to attend. Also not happy I had to pay $20 a night for parking.

The room was very clean, and the whole facility appeared to be updated and modern. There were plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries. Also, it was quiet and in a great location. The breakfast was a nice bonus. They served toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and all kinds of cereal. Juices, coffee, tea and milk ere also included, along with fresh fruit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean but small a basic. I really missed the coffee machine and a blanket and a real closet. I don’t think I will stay again in a Tru I’m used to have more comfort when I stay at Hilton.

Three heated food warmers. Two of them had the same item (nasty scrambled eggs. Meat was sliced weiners or "turkey" "sausage" links. Pancakes with real butter were very good. The last two nights of our stay the heat in our room did not work. The HVAC blew cold air. My understanding is corporate can control the HVAC from where they are. Outside temperature got down to 49 degrees in the area. We loved our stay at TRU. I hope the penny pinching doesn't ruin them.
