Super convenient Hotel

We had an amazing, super comfortable stay at Hotel The Flag. Staff were very nice an accommodating. Location of the hotel is right in the very heart of Shinsaibashi area - just a few steps and you are there! Very convenient. Hotel rooms are very clean and just the right size. Will definitely book the same hotel in our next visits to Osaka.

New and perfect location

I've always liked new hotels. This one is well located, excellent staff, modern bathroom (watch the step), good breakfast. We arrived early in the morning, the room was of course not yet available, but by the afternoon when we returned they were already in the room. Huge choice of shops and restaurants in the immediate area, metro is 5 minutes away, Dotombori 15-20. Would recommend to shortlist when deciding accommodation in Osaka.

Look no Further! Dontonburi just down the road, shopping galore right next to it! Close to station… food & drinks just steps away as soon as you walkout! Staff are friendly & always happy to help & answer any questions! Rooms a decently sized & clean, love that coffee & cold water machine daily (24hrs) is always available plus laundry mat inside with coin change machine. The breakfast was amazing and I think that the water bottle system is really good for environment. Every staff was friendly and helped a lot. Thank you for your service. The one thing was a little disappointing...the room without a bath. I was thinking every hotel has a bath but maybe it was wrong. Next time If I go to Osaka, Dotonbori, I would use this Flag hotel again.Thank you!!

Room was small with no place to put your clothes. You will be living out of your suitcase on the floor. Breakfast buffet was not great, very western. After the first day we chose to walk to McDs. Shower was great! Can't open window fully to balcony (opened only 4 inches). Can't see out the window (completely frosted). Tried to open for fresh air only to get fried food smell into the room. If you are looking for no-frill basic room then this is for you.

Hotel is very minimalist. 10 minutes walk to Dotonbori and lots of dining options. Room was decent size. Easy to move around with Shinsaibashi station close by. 3 stations away from Osaka station so very easy to get to if you’re traveling to Kyoto. They offer luggage transfer service for a fee and I used it to send my luggage to my hotel in Tokyo. Just note that it has to be sent 1 day prior to your arrival to your next destination, but depending on your next destination.

It's right next to a club so you can hear them shouting and laughing during Fri/Sat nights but other than that this hotel is more than great!
