Check in staff were great. Nice water in lobby. Mattress was soft. Low water pressure. Towels were not soft. Bathroom did not have enough shower soaps. No pen in room. Front door broken to hotel. Cannot beat location and price combination. Plain simple option to the other high ends in the area. Probably will not stay again solely as I want to be a little spoiled when I go away. Nothing overall with the hotel.

Great location. Front desk very friendly and great service. Signage for parking garage could be improved.. easy to miss. Should also have a mirror for safety as you approach the sidewalk/road. Hot water was really just like warm for showers. Bathroom floor was freezing! Otherwise rooms were very well equipped though small. Good value

The location was convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The room was adequate. The bed was comfortable with two types of pillow options--soft and firm. The body wash and shampoo were suspiciously similar...but smelled nice. My only complaint is that the hallway, stairwells, elevators, and especially the front entry area smelled off--like a mix of mold and maybe natural gas...I'm not quite sure how else to describe it.

The staff were lovely & the hotel was in a great area but unfortunately we ran into a lot problems during the stay. We didn’t get hot water for 15 mins trying to shower, we could hear everything happening outside the room & beside us which made it difficult for sleep, our room also had a bad carpet job with noticeable missing pieces by the walls. Our wifi throughout our stay also did not work In regards to parking , staff was very helpful with finding it but definitely a tight squeeze. Although the staff were positive we wouldn’t stay again due to the little things building up

Overall not a bad hotel - but wouldn’t stay again. Pros : -Relatively close walking distance to most tourist attractions and restaurants. -Updated rooms Cons : -If you like ice showers this is the place for you! After roughly 15-20 minutes of running the water fully on the hottest setting possible, we got just enough to call it warm bath water on the 4 attempts to get hot water. -Parking = not located directly under the hotel, down a VERY tight alleyway and below another building. We have a 2024 Outlander and it’s not much of a height difference to a CRV or RAV4, and we just barely made it into the parking garage after being told we’d fit no problem. My S/O had to get out and watch every turn we made in the tight garage. $25 PER day charge too! -Towels are also sandpaper. If you want a cheap(ish) hotel in downtown Ottawa and don’t have to park an suv, enjoy cold showers, this might be the spot for you!

The hotel itself was clean, and I had a great overall experience. However, the restaurant/lounge left much to be desired. After a flight, I stopped in for lunch and noticed only one other customer there. He mentioned he hadn’t seen the bartender in a while. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes before anyone came by to check on him or acknowledge me. When I finally ordered, the food was overpriced and mediocre, and the service was disappointing.
