Nice hotel in good location

When staying at the Village Suites, you are actually staying at one of three possible hotel buildings: Weider Lodge, Grand Georgian or Seasons at Blue. They are all located fairly close to each other, but Weider is the closest to the lift (about 100') and only 2 of the 3 have been updated recently. Check-in for all 3 is in the lobby for the Grand Georgian located at 156 Jose Weider Blvd. You have the choice of paid underground parking ($20 per night), or free parking about a 10 minute walk away (if the parking lot isn't full of course) We opted to pay for parking so we didn't have to walk. We ended up being assigned to Weider Lodge, which was perfect for us as we were skiing and it's closest to the lift. One of the 2 elevators wasn't working, so there were long lines for the remaining elevator, so we opted to use the stairs. The only problem with that was the stairs from the P2 parking garage level only lead outside, so we ended up having to walk all the way around the outside of the building with all of our stuff, not ideal. The room was newly updated and very clean with everything you could want (one bedroom with small kitchen). Only a few small complaints: the TV in the living room is TINY, I'm guessing about 27", and the door to the hallway let a lot of noise in.

We had a great time at Blue Mountain suites. Our room was great but the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. The lounge was nice, and the indoor short cut to the village center was useful to help us avoid being outside in the cold for too long.

Heating in unit was ridiculous. Set at 78 degrees, which we could manually adjust down, but it would then reset to 78 and subsequently left the units noisy central fighting against itself while we tried to sleep. The fan blew off and on throughout the night giving us next to no rest.

We rented a 2 bedroom village suite which looked out on the hill and was very nice. Beds super comfortable and it was clean and well stocked. Loved the central location and being right in the village. Parking underground was tight - poorly designed parking lot. Was happy to get a spot and be underground though. All in all a great getaway

Hotel Underground Parking

Our experience was somewhat mixed. The stay itself was pleasant—comfortable rooms and everything else met our expectations. However, the biggest issue was the disorganized underground parking. We arrived on a Saturday and were told at check-in that parking was available, but there were no spaces. After hours of searching, we finally found a spot at 10 p.m. Also, the underground parking is full of dead ends and very difficult to manuver through. This significantly impacted our experience, leaving us with little time to relax before an early checkout the next day. Additionally, one of the elevators was out of service, which added to the inconvenience.
