It’s pretty location who enjoys the mountains. The castle is beautiful but the rooms needs to upgrade specially the bathrooms.

Hiding Gem Hotel in Brazil , Beautiful Historical Hotel with well trained staff. Specially thanks for property manager Roberta who gave us superb hospitality experience, Each suit has own design. We feel alike staying in between amazing nature and historical castle. Also thanks for Juliana being such friendly and super nice. If you are traveling to Brazil you should stop by this area and have Castle experience. Highly recommended place !!!! Don't miss this hot spot when you in Brazil ! Greg and Zara form New York City

Not very enchanting castly

Upon checkin I was a bit shocked when greeted with the most inhospitable staff. Very cold, never once welcoming. Check in was at 3pm. I asked if the room is ready earlier, they kept repeating checkin is at 3pm. I’m like can you see if any rooms are available? They didn’t bother to look. So since the hotel was basically shut down for a wedding, there was no where to relax so we had lunch nearby and just sat in a car for a few hours. Upon checkin, the rooms are tiny. Less than advertised. Tv was old and not a smart tv. The property itself which could be magical really feels like a truck stop attraction. There’s no spa here either. It’s a massage table on a terrace. I asked to use the jacuzzis. They said they were reserved for the next 4 hours. I saw 2/5 being used. Change of staff and the place could be really nice. Or at least teach them the basics.

It's not really a hotel, but a party venue

Biggest problem was noise. I booked the highest level of suite they had for 7 nights. However the room (top left of their cover photo) is very close to their main business activity which is events and parties. Just about every day was a party of one form or another. These parties go on until the early hours or all night. One graduation party started at mid-night and finished at 07:00. These are very loud and make sleep almost impossible. I understand that as a business they want to maximise revenue, however unless you are there just for one night and are attending the party, it's not a great place to stay - or at least not in the imperial suites.

The hotel was lovely but my room didn’t have any toiletries or hand towels what so ever tried to call room service but no answer and there was lots of noise from other guests partying hitting the door and walls

The castle is gorgeous but the rooms definitely reflect the age of the property. I stayed at the Suite da Torre (Tower suite) and it's one of the most interesting rooms I've ever stayed in with breathtaking views. The bathroom though has a constant sewage smell. The fist day we had left the windows ajar and door open and then in the next day the smell was nauseating. We had to keep the windows open to dissipate the smell. My sister also mentioned having the same smeel in her room. Staff was excellent and the grounds had several activities for kids and adults and also several options for dinning. The views of the grounds and surrounding are gorgeous. My niece had her wedding at the castle and it was like a fairy-tale.

Fun sleeping at a tower in the castle. Our teenage girls enjoyed it, even if it was a little cheesy at times. Great balcony views, clean and spacious.

A recepção foi bem confusa no check in, estava bem cheio e não havia organização, não passaram nenhum orientação sobre o hotel, te dão a chave do quarto como se fosse obrigação conhecer o hotel e saber o caminho. O papel com as orientações não explica sobre a visita ao castelo, não te passam o local das atividades do hotel, nadinha. O elevador vira e mexe parava, como estava no primeiro andar ok, mas dá mesma forma, sem orientação e sinalização. O chuveiro da minha suite pingava sem parar, além da água não cair com sentido, molhava tudo! Fiquei na suite cavaleiro real, limpinha, arrumadinha, banheira boa. Problema só no box e chuveiro mesmo. Café da manhã satisfatório, oq era muito bom eram os bolos, todas as outras opções eram medianas. Mesmo achando o local super estimado por ser um castelo e não ter achado nada demais, voltaria a ficar lá. Fui com criança e sem sair do espaço do castelo vc tem muitas atividades para eles. O parquinho de dentro do castelo só encontrei por acaso conhecendo o espaço, pq apesar de ter um papel no elevador falando de área kids, nenhuma sinalização e nem orientação de funcionários

Chuveiro elétrico, para um hotel esse é um belo tiro no pé, ainda mais um local que é bem frio no inverno, também não existe lareiras e/ou aquecedores, ou seja irá já sabendo que para fugir do frio ficará recluso no quarto ou sai para algum restaurante fora do hotel, pois na grande maioria tem aquecedores, o que não acontece nas dependências do hotel, o quarto é extremamente barulhento, existe o sistema de ventilação forcada que quase a todo momento fica ligado que faz um barulho insuportável nos quartos, isso pelo menos no 3 andar, onde do elevador você já escuta o barulho, não sei como fica nos outros andares, mais ao questionar a recepção apenas dizem que é uma obra na piscina, isso a noite, não entendi e não faz sentido, mas como estava em casal apenas sem crianças fiquei de boa, mas resumindo o hotel não vale para quem vai de casal, e digo mais tem mais opções para as próprias crianças, mas não voltaria nem com elas. Já o café da manhã é bastante satisfatório e o atendimento bom também, apesar da desculpa esfarrapada do barulho no quarto, mas tivemos na grande maiores um bom atendimento.
