This was our 5th hotel in the last two weeks of traveling around Europe. By far, it has the most comfortable beds! The room is nice and clean. We had a family suite and it was spacious for a Parisian hotel. Very positive impression after staying there and the view from the window as well as little balconies were just perfect!!!! I recommend, and would gladly return!

The staff was really nice and the location is great if you are taking a train or metro. However, the hotel itself is not so good. The walls are paper-thin, you can hear every footstep in the building and other people locking their door. The elevator was out of service so they said they would discount breakfast from 12€ to 8€ per person. It was only 7€ for breakfast at any of the cafes nearby. The hotel is under construction so there is a lot of noise (yes, in the rooms too) and dust from 8 am to 7 pm. The room was really small even though I checked the square meters before booking. The bathroom was so tiny your knees tough the walk when sitting on the toilet, and the bathroom door (pocket door) didn’t close all the way, which was even more frustrating since it’s right next to the bed! We won’t be back.

The hotel's lift wasn't working as we were told when we checked-in. Not sure if the hotel had any lift in the first place. We had to carry our luggage to the 5th floor through a spiral staircase that was quite a workout. The toilet in the room had a niche to keep towels but no place to keep our toiletries next to sink. There was no toilet roll holder. One plus point was the hotel was next to a metro station that was so convenient to explore Paris.

This hotel is perfect if you want to stay near train station when you have to catch a train early, the hotel is ok, but they are renewing it, and the elevator is not working, they give us the room in the 4th floor, and you have to carry your bags, in the reception the girl is not friendly at all, the other staff really good

Good value. I had a single room in a busy area close main railwaus, bar and entertainment. The room basic, clean and appropriately equipped. Unfortunately the bathroom door did not work well and the shower drain smelled slightly

Location is everything.

This was a solo trip and the hotel was ideal. The location was just 20mts from the Metro and close to the main overground train station. Food and bar options on your doorstep with everything catered for from early to late. Staff were very helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good value for the money.

Located directly across the street from the Paris Gare de l'Est train station, and nearby the Gare du Nord station (with the direct "B" line train to CDG airport). In a walkable area, and straight in line with the "Boulevard de Strasbourg" & "Boulevard de Sebastopol" which take you to "Notre Dame" and the islands.

Okay for a couple of nights

Good location next to Gare d L'est station but it is noisy, sirens all the time. We had 105 which had a window facing a wall. Bed was comfortable and shower good. We didnt have breakfast as €12 and cafe next door did it for €6.50. Security is poor, we returned one early evening and nobody on the desk, after waiting ages with our room key and others in sight my husband reached over to get it himself. Overall, okay for a base for a couple of nights but nothing more.

I found the room to be big enough, clean, comfortable and shower was nice and hot. The gentleman on reception was super helpful with Metro directions. Continental breakfast was available for €12pp but I don’t eat breakfast so can’t comment on value for money.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Hotel d’Alsace. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who tried really hard to greet us even with the language barrier, we were checked in quickly and directed to our room. We weren’t expecting a lot but the room was lovely; very spacious for a quadruple room with good sized beds that were very comfy. The room was very clean; our beds were changed for our second night and the whole room cleaned so it was lovely and fresh after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The breakfast area was small with just 2 long tables for everyone but there was enough space you just need to be a little patient when it’s busier. The food itself was delicious & there was a great range for everyone. The hotel was great for travelling with the metro right out side the entrance which saved us lots of time having to work out where it was on day one. On our last day the hotel were gracious enough to let us store our luggage whilst we spent our last day travelling around seeing more sights and when we went to collect the luggage it was exactly where we had left it. We would definitely recommend a stay here, I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a lovely stay.
