Hotel Magda is a little gem. Room was small for a Superior but had everything we needed: fridge, kettle with tea/coffee, toiletries, opening French windows with traditional shutters. View onto front aspect added to its quaint charm. Great buffet breakfast replenished constantly. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Our stay was perfect, thank you.

The location is amazing So close to the Arc de triumph and the metro station making it easy to get around Paris Food is on your doorstep too

The air conditioning did not work well at all in the room so we had to keep opening the windows to cool it down. However, there is the star club opposite which is loud and has people smoking outside so the room fills with cigarette smoke and is extremely noisy. So you have the choice of not sleeping because of the heat, or because of the noise/cigarettes. This means the hotel ia very expensive for what you get in return.

Every morning at 7 am the construction would start. This was outside of the hotel but was loud and annoying. They were also working inside the hotel and the pounding started early and could be here in the bedroom area. Not a very soundproof hotel either. When the family in the room above us came in late, they would be stamping around loudly. They also had a child that ran back and forth until 3 am. We also put a different card in the light switch to keep lights on if 2 family members left for a bit. The cleaning crew took that card. It went missing in the hotel for over 24 hours.

The hotel is a lovely small hotel in a wonderful location . The only thing that spoilt our stay was the noise every night until about 2am and then from 6am onwards in the room above. I have no idea what all the noise was but it sounded like someone constantly moving furniture , opening and closing drawers and being a little noisy in other ways . It was very hard to sleep.

I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Magda. Although the hotel is located near a major tourist attraction, the hotel street felt very quiet and quaint. The hotel was quiet as well. The rooms were sparkling clean. The location was perfect with only a short walk away to the metro connecting to lines 1 and 6, which gets you to most areas of interest when visiting Paris.

This hotel had small rooms, which is to be expected in Paris, but it had everything we needed. It was centrally located to transportation, restaurants, shops, and sites. It was clean, and we liked the fact that we could open the windows to experience the cool breeze and also see the beautiful buildings near us.
