Charming hotel, good value for money

This charming hotel has an older/historic feel to it, but everything is in good condition and working. I stayed there for a business trip, but if I needed to travel to Paris for a holiday with my wife I could consider this one as an inexpensive option.

Our stay was terrible. Our room was dirty. There were hairs in our beds towels and pillows when we arrived. There was trashing the trash can in the bathroom and stains on the mattress as well as the curtains. We were told our room would be cleaned after we complained. They took out the trash but merely turned the pillows over as if we wouldn’t notice they were still dirty. There were also multiple spiders in the room. There were no additional rooms available. They brought us additional sheets so we could change them ourselves. The sheets they gave us had blood stains i b them it was disgusting. If we were able to find another hotel in Paris we would have left but nothing was available. We felt so dirty being i the room we could not sleep. We should be refunded our money. This place was gross and i would never recommend it to anyone.

OK - this hotel is not fancy but clean and the AC worked well. its just north of opera and near bars and restaurants. The street is private and if you need parking there are some garages nearby; we were able to find free street parking. Hotel a little dated, but good value for budget conscious travel in Paris.

First of all, the place may or may not be under construction. There are holes in the wall where electrical work was done and not sealed. There is a room to the side of a sitting area filled with drop clothes and paint. The advertised courtyard has 2 tiny bistro tables and chairs with chipping paint. You can barely note you are outside. There is one elevator which fits only 2 people, and is filthy. The entire property needs to be updated. I seriously doubt that it meets any type of safety standards. The place offers absolutely nothing. We had to ask for tissues and toilet paper. They don't provide soap for handwashing. There are no refrigerators or safes in the room. I requested an iron and ironing board and was told I had to go to the lobby to use . Their idea of cleaning the room is emptying the trash can and replacing your bath towels.on our 4th day, they asked if they could skip cleaning since it was our last full day. We honestly tried to find another place but nothing was available nearby. The area had a lot of restaurants and cafes which was nice, but you will find that all over Paris, in much nicer locations. No I would not recommend this to a friend or an enemy !

Great location for exploring Paris, friendly staff, and we had a small but clean and quiet room with some nice polished-wood touches for ambiance. There are a lot of cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby.

Great location - 5 minutes by bus to Gare du Nord (for RER to CDG) or 5 min. by Metro to Galeries Lafayette (beautiful shopping centre) and Opera Garnier (or an interesting 15 min. walk). Very friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms. Lovely historic details in intimate foyer and lounge areas. Excellent breakfast. Stayed here 12 years ago and am very glad I returned. (My one small negative is that some carpet needs replacing.)

It was a very lovely place to stay for us Americans. Staff was very friendly and considerate and kind It was a safe location, close to metro,train station back to airport walkabale to main attractions and plenty of cafes stores and shops nearby. Cant wait to return.

The gentlemen who all worked the desk, whether it was when I checked in or directions to some place were absolutely WONDERFUL! The room was really cool! Nice bed. Nice view from my window was nice. Plenty of room for just myself! Quiet street. Close to transport. STAY HERE!

Good Central Location

Was there for 3 nights, what you typically expect for a Parisian Hotel, a bit small but did the job and had the basic amenities (No Fridge). Staff was extremely friendly and nice. Location is near a couple groceries stores and a lot of great restaurants. There’s a kitchen downstairs as well. Only odd thing was the key situation and returning it to the front desk if you ever leave.

Very Pleasant Stay

This was definitely a pleasant day. The hotel is in a great location and is very close to Metro access. There’s lots of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance. The hotel is not new but provides a helpful and friendly staff, adequate comfortable room, clean bathroom and quiet facility.- what more could I ask for?

Poor check in, hard to find unmarked elevator which required steps to access, old style keys that had to be left at reception when going outside, no coffee maker in room, not able to secure wifi info to connect. Hotel seems indifferent to needs of travels. Not worth the price.
