Reality vs Marketing

Booked an Executive room months ago- beautiful pics on website- but room given on checkin- TOTALLY DIFFERENT- Handicapped Room- Dark and dingy- took more than 24 hrs to change and then hotel staff admitted that “new room” was of 2 options best they could do— better but never got a room that are featured on their website—-AVOID NOT AS ADVERTISED- never an apology- THIS HOTEL caters to traveling groups- on buses- You will get lost in the lobby chaos- Property is in poor repair- unstable brick paver walkways and burned out security lighting at Rodin building- with a scary elevator— Hit or miss housekeeping- failed to supply towels one day; totally missed room one day despite door hanger on room to make up for 7 hrs- not done- yet a new tour group likely was the priority— Avoid this bait and switch hotel—
No tub in this room - handicapped-

Very comfortable hotel Odd that it had a cooktop but no utensils available. Microwave works. Layout means every arriving or departing guest noises echo through the complex. Staff helpful and very close to Metro. Grocery store near by. Would stay again.

Great Hotel

We had read the reviews before booking and they were a bit mixed. However, in our opinion this hotel was great. We stayed in a suite that was beautiful and spotlessly clean. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were helpful and even provided us with umbrella when it was raining. The location was great. The metro was a few minutes away and it was a ten minute stroll to many shops and restaurants. The outside garden area of the hotel was a little oasis to sit and relax. The breakfast had a good selection and we never had to wait for a seat even when it was busy. We had an amazing week.

The establishment was lovely, staff welcoming and friendly, from the front desk to waiters and waitress. Food lovely and price is good. Room was clean and the bed so comfortable I need to buy a new mattress. I would totally recommend and I give them 10 out of 10.

Good hotel but not worth the money

I’ve stayed at this hotel over many years. While the location is great and the overall condition of the hotel is good, the service, cost, and amenities no longer justify the price. There are many other hotels nearby-at three stars-that offer nicer rooms and more personalized service at a lower price.
