Consistent experience at Peninsula

We always book the Peninsula due to their check in policy. The Manila hotel was comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located in BGC. The amenities (gym, pool, and bar) were modern and easy to access. Lastly, the staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure all of your requests were met. With that said, the Peninsula is a little dated and could use a fresh.

This is our second time staying at the hotel. It is a beuatiful property with attention to guests. However, the bathrooms seems kind of outdated. Also, we checked out on Feb 14th. valentines day. the hotel had the entire lobby occupied with special live shows and many private dinners. because we had a late flight we had no where to sit in the lobby. We had to change some things in out stored luggage and there was no where we could easily do this. Basically, there was no thought to guests taht are using the lobby after checkout on that particular day. It made our departure very uncomfortable. the rest of the stay was very nice.

The Peninsula Manila is right in the middle of Makati where there are lots of restaurants and shops to suit anyone’s tastes. I love the VIP experience. Kudos to the manager and staff. The hotel restaurants serve great food.

We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, travel 4 months per year, and this is truly one of the best places we’ve found - amazing service, facilities, room finishes. SOPHIA the concierge is a great help, a true pro who gets things done with high quality. The hotel private car was great - we were greeted by name as we arrived at the hotel and then checked in from our room - so convenient! The bellmen always greeted us by name with a smile. Dining in the lobby was very good but don’t miss the excellent cuisine in Spices. Truly outstanding and a great value for the price! Just cancelled our hotel at Shangri La later this month just so we could return to this place. @leoperezphotos

Excellent hotel.

Staying at this iconic hotel was a truly great experience. We encountered a couple of issues initially which were quickly resolved by the wonderful staff. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. We dined twice at the restaurant Spices which served delicious fare and once in the lobby which was similarly tasty. The spa is on the smaller side but we both thoroughly enjoyed our treatments by highly skilled members of staff. One thing to single out is the fantastic live music played daily. Martin Avila is a highly accomplished pianist whose talent is finer than any other pianist I’ve heard around the world in a hotel setting. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites on the 11th floor for four nights. It was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Some of the furniture, however, is a little old and could benefit from some attention or replacing. This is not to take away from our overall experience because we were 100% satisfied with our stay. We’re delighted we chose The Peninsula for our trip to Makati having stayed in other hotels here in the past.
