Wonderful friendly staff. Front desk was always helpful. 24 hour Denny’s onsite was convenient Only complaint was recurring issues with our room key repeatedly failing and requiring us to visit at the front desk for replacements.

Liked back access to the beach. Didnt like that hotel didnt have complimentaey breakfast. Had no run down on anything when we checked in. No info in rooms either. Spent a week there and only took elevator twice as it is old, slow and scary. Faster to take stairs.

Close to the beach!

Front desk staff was very helpful on providing trail maps for us. There is a lot of rooms so it was busy. It was close to the boardwalk which was really nice. Only issue was the AC was really loud.

I reserved 4 rooms for 3 nights. All the carpets in every room was pretty gross. They were pretty obviously stained which couldn’t be missed. The cleaning staff were lovely and I do believe that they reported that the carpets needed cleaned. Also, the smell of cigarette smoke was disgusting. Due to negligence by management in this matter our family will not be using Sandman again.

Property is old and run down rooms were not clean house keeping had not cleaned well carpets not vacuumed we had to ask to change rooms but even that room was not the best bathroom fan not working Outdated and won’t be staying here again!

Excellent staff

The staff and service was incredible and that’s why I gave 4 stars. Updates are needed and a couple things in our room were broken/almost broken (a lamp switch and the shower faucet). Our bedding and towels were clean and the a/c works! The room and bathroom were a little dirty- dust, spills and hair. My guess is a lack of adequate staffing or unreasonable expectations on the cleaning staff. They were fantastic and always available.
