The place was disgusting. Garbage remaining outside our door during both days of our stay, with the hallway carpet littered with debris and never vacuumed. The iron and coffee maker did not work, and when we requested that they be checked or replaced, they said "sure", only to do nothing, even after 3 requests! The same with regard to room service, or the total lack thereof. After our first night stay, we asked not once, not twice, but three times for them to clean our room. Despite assurances that this would be taken care of, it never was. Where at 2 AM during our 2nd night stay, we had to go down to the front desk and ask for clean towels. The management and staff either don't care and/or are incompetent. We expect and demand more as a Hilton Honors member, and would highly encourage others to not just avoid, but run away from the Logan hotel in Philadelphia. It was that bad.

Perfectly located if you want to visit the Barnes Foundation, the Rodin Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the just opened Calder Gardens, all within a short walk. The hotel rooms are very generous in size, although a bit dated in decor. The hotel restaurant, the Urban Farmer, did not disappoint, both at sit-down dinner and in-room service. Not a large menu, but all selections were excellent. Staff were all courteous, and helpful, all in all a very pleasant stay. The hotel is also within a less than 20 minute walk from the 30th Street Amtrak station.

The property and everything was very good. However there was a party going on on the roof on the second night that was incredibly loud and made vibrate things in our room making it impossible to sleep in my case until 1AM. This was very disruptive and upsetting. I did the half of the night fee back after I complained to the manager
